The Mar Thoma Suvisesha Sevika Sangham, the women’s wing of the Mar Thoma Church, was inaugurated during Maramon Convention in the year 1919, under the leadership of Abraham Mar Suffragan Metropolita, who gave the Sangham continued support and inspiration. Every women of the Mar Thoma Church above the age of 18 years is a member of the Sevika Sangham.
Sevika Sangham continues to serve the Lord and his people by bringing women together to share and implement ideas, and provide fellowship and assistance to elderly ladies and anyone in need. The group was successful in raising money for various charities and helping the church in uplifting all the spiritual activities.
Monthly Bible Studies are held on the first Sunday of every month.Sevika Sangham also conducts cottage prayers for elderly women who were unable to attend church, which gave them an opportunity for fellowship and worship.
We are committed to give financial assistance to the needy and other charitable causes in Kerala and Australia. It is funded by generous donations from our members. Sevika Sangam support many Charities in Kerala which included the Balika Mandiram, Asha Bhavan, Education sponsorship to a needy students.
